From conceptual design to the finished product, we worked alongside DMS pack and cool to produce a solution. Being Te Puke based we could see the problem that DMS faced and worked with them to develop an industry first ground up solution to help them efficiently pack Zespri kiwifruit.

DMS was involved in all design decisions regularly visiting our workshop to weigh in on designs and improve machines before delivery.

A complete line was provided which included labellers, box up-stackers, conveying and robotic stackers to reduce as many labour units as possible.

Trevelyan’s pack and cool needed an add on solution for their existing automated line. The Electrostack fit perfectly into the existing layout and provided a robotic solution to reduce the load on the manual stackers that operate along side the robot. Up-stackers and conveying were also provided by Electropack to allow for a fully autonomous solution.

About Us

Electropack was founded by Sean Carey in 2025 to manufacture robotic palletising solutions for the post-harvest fruit packing industry.

Based out of Sean’s parents Electrodip workshop, which was founded by his father and grandfather in 1989, they have the capability to design, fabricate and install specialised robotic solutions. Focusing on manufacturing has allowed for the investment in various CNC machines to keep all manufacturing in New Zealand.

They have a small team of experienced engineers in the post-harvest sector with knowledge in mechanical, electrical and industrial automation.
